GeoSound Helmets

Geo(desic) Sound Helmets is an interactive and immersive personal sound environment installation that is controlled by the participant’s breath and head movement. The project creatively uses state-of-the-art technology.
Ben worked on the form and construction of the helmet and how sensors and speakers were incorporated into the immediate user environment.

GSHelmets is a creative project by Cara-Ann Simpson in collaboration with Eva Cheng (DSP & research engineer, RMIT University, Melbourne), Ben Landau (industrial designer, Melbourne), and Eng Tat Khoo (computer & electrical engineer, National University of Singapore, Singapore).
